Measuring Measured Love

You may measure love in litres
or you may measure it in volumes or pounds
Love may get hotter than heaters
Love may never know any bounds.
You can tell of love from the pounding of the heart
You can feel it, sense it everywhere
Yet fickle infatuation's a common unwitting dart
You never know who shall fondly care
Yet even if the shortest sweetest words of the world are, 'I LOVE you'
Destiny might never let her admit it to you
For some loves have to be concealed in the secret closets of the heart
For if revealed they'd so upset her/his applecart!
Your amaze'ing your talent has no bounds words of truth sometimes sad truth
