Me, Myself And I Poem by Joey Habib

Me, Myself And I

Rating: 3.0

Sometimes i look in the mirror and i dont know who i see,
the old me...NO
the new me!
But im at a constant battle
trying to fight off the demons of my old self
i said i retired that jersey and hung it on the shelve
i sometimes feel like im at mid-town at high noon
taking my 10 steps then turning around to draw
or i feel like im the night of the living dead strickly underground
Gotta stay up...cant stay down
so the balls in my court i gotta dribble it out
everyone crawls before they walk
and this might sound crazy but its not its REAL talk
staight up from someone who seen it, been through it, delt with it, and got through it...
