Me Poem by Melanie Myrick

Me

Bitter dreams falling down.
The girl you see isn't what she seems to be.
The pretty face and the small curved waist.
You don't see the tears threatening to come out.
She hides her pain with a tight flirty smile.
But you don't see beneath her sunken lonely eyes and happy lies.
Her body screaming out to you but you don't notice.
Your never do notices.
She'll never tell you of the time she cried and the blood she shed trying to please you.
At times feeling like Edgar Allen Poe showing no colors but the black widow feathers as there pluck.
her wrist showing the stories what is actually going on, but no one will ever see.
The real person in side, No one will ever see the real me.
