Me Poem by Singleton M. Tate

Me

Who am I?

Silenced despised and
thrown down to earth
cast away into the
womb of darkness
hidden from the
Shining Light.

I explode on
the scene but yet I
am lost I cry
I'm cold and frail
deluded in my own
imaginary state of
Non-existence.

Where was I?

Memory erased and I
am naked shaking
of a brown nature
what do I do fear
grips my soul I'm the
Blinded Wanderer.

Clouds gather to
convict anger blushed
while fighting sorrow
breaking its way into
pity as it was poured
out into my sentence of
Guilty.

Overshadowed by what?

Aimlessly stalked by
evil reviled contention
to escape eternity
caressed obscurity
for lifetimes I've seen
Nebulas.

Swallow me as a
mountain while wrath
and sand stab at my
bleeding body
chastened into
submission I am
A Masterpiece.

But all you see is
an impoverished
tree searching for
The Living Water.
