Mcgillicuddy Poem by Robert Edgar Burns

Mcgillicuddy

M-aybe Lucy Or Lucille Ricardo
C-ould not tell you her middle name.
G-ot to reading it was Esmeralda,
I-n her wedding guest book printed plain.
L-ost forever to all who adored her.
L-oved by everyone at least once a week.
I-n the box with knobs that stood on the floors
C-ame her humor which was such a treat.
U-ntil color film replaced black and white,
D-id we know that her hair was red?
D-on't ever believe we did not know.
Y-elling Ricky called Red from his bed.

Form: Acrostic
