Maybe Their Gods And Goddesses Are Still Asleep Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

Maybe Their Gods And Goddesses Are Still Asleep

They are crying out loud to their Gods and Goddesses! !
In the name of saying their prayers;
Very loud! ! !
Seen very common in my land;
Maybe, their Gods and Goddesses are asleep;
Forgeting that their voices are also disturbing their neighbours,
In the neighbourhood.
Prayers!
With microphones to amplify their voices,
Seen at every corner in my land;
Maybe their Gods and Goddesses are still asleep.
