Maybe Poem by Pragathi Pamarthi

Maybe

Maybe you've got galaxies in your eyes,
And maybe that's why, they're shining such bright.

Maybe your made of platinum and gold,
And your the toughest thing, one can ever hold.

Maybe diamonds are imbedded in your heart,
And maybe that's why it's shining such even while it's being torn apart.

Maybe the your pure stardust finely carved into a human,
And maybe that's why it seems like the universe is given a voice.

I can close my eyes and say your the sun,
because your leaving and its painfully beautiful.
And if not sunset, which ending
Can be this sore and soft.

You shouldn't have left this earth alone,
Miss you until we explore the cosmos; together.
