An inspiration to all this 'Goddess' has meant.
With her insights surfacing from uncommon depths,
And lyrically if set to music...
Her words were written, heard, quoted and spoken,
In a delivery only Maya could leave...
Expressed to address with such a vivid truthfulness.

And with this to do Maya Angelou achieved greatness,
As a poet, a parent and as a scholar too!
With a sparkle to shine brighter than few stars can do.
She IS! And forever always be,
Ms Maya Angelou for you, for others and for me...
A gift given to share abilities remembered,
As a 'Goddess' of poets with talents immense.
