May Behave Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

May Behave

Rating: 5.0

“Woman, wealth and wine” the legend says
Can not make you to feel fine
It may bring disaster in life
Make life miserable and full strife

Yes, they say it can not remain together
Wealth may deplete so fast to run after
Woman and wine may take you to another deep
The health may also deteriorate at the cost of sound sleep

Wealth may make person arrogant and impolite
He may feel to live on earth with exclusive right
Show some kind of intolerance towards neighbors
The neighbors too may show disrespect and dishonor

The nobility will be affected with none
The fortune may remain or stand as gone
The status remains same for times to come
Rich or poor both are always welcome

Even illiterate person may behave differently
He shall be dreaming to live happily
He may for witch hunt to show lavishness
That shall drag him to face the unavoidable stress
