Mass Extinction

Flick forward
to when
the few
don't need
the many.

Their lackeys
have found and elevated
the few
who were still amongst
the many,

and are withholding
from the many
the survival secrets
which they have made
so necessary.

Extinction of the many
is occurring
while the few
dine on the secrets
in the malodorous transition.
