Mass Poem by Colin Ian Jeffery

Mass

Sweet precious Lord
In whom my faith is placed
I kneel before your altar.

Priest recites consecration prayer
And I bow my head in homage
Taking bread and wine of adoration.

Glory to the Holy Trinity
Peace engulf this sinner's ravished soul
God's love everlasting.

A humble and heartfelt prayer...we go to mass with the best intentions..to examine our conscience truthfully....and ask our Lord's forgiveness.... our faith keeps up grounded and on the right path...great prayer!
