Maruts Poem by Savita Tyagi

Maruts

Volatile Emotions
Force magnificence
Accept my prayers
Terror stricken I am
Truly your patron are Maruts divine
Of ancient Vedic lore
Fierce tempestuous energies
I seek your grace
Shelter me from your impetuous bolt
Thunderous roar of yours
Rips through my heart
Your fiery flashes
Burn through my flash
Let this turmoil subside
Purge my mind of darkness
Expunge the agitations
Return to calm
Torch me with your light
Of peace and love.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM

did Rudra and Diti have a favorite? ? yeah, let's hear it for peace and love! they DO sound better than 'turmoil' and 'agitations'. my mate always tells me that when i've been misbehaving. bri :)

Listen to your mate! Keep your Maruts in check. Charged with positivity they do wonders. Thanks for your comment.

Internal storms are more fierce in velocity and magnitude! Then, it reqires more time and grace to go back to a state of calm! Enjoyed this metaphorical write! About the advice and opinion you sought, I shall respond later! Now I am not competent enough! Thanks!
