Marrow Deep Poem by Deborah Dalton

Marrow Deep

Rating: 5.0

In my bones
the fire inside
is burning brighter and brighter

Ignited by the wind
billowing
softly

An endothermic response
to an exothermic process

Allowing me to become what is need
to hear the Divine speak
...to you

Soul shaking
messages
felt through
transparent mediums

Drawing

Pulling
as if dangling
rhythmically
on a magnetic thread

Eye gazes
prompt poetic scripts
of intimate affirming
connections

Doused in the sound
of pleas
for identities
professed

Sensing the yearn
for
the
encased clicks
of tumblers
awkwardly rotating
in chambers
giving way to a clear path

Breathing relief

Its radiance
breaks through in
a peeking flash
inviting an
electric
enveloping glow

My
unique
essence is
beautifully
insignificant
A welcoming contextual
positioning of the Id

Respecting

Inspiring your fears
to dance gracefully
in the waves of
nonjudgmental thought

A holy purpose
in frivolous play

Embracing a
collective compassion
seeking an
eternal muse

Oh, The Purity of Life
