Mark Twain Poem by greg richardson

Mark Twain

I am no Mark Twain
But then again
He was no Greg Richardson

He was the icon
Of an age
I am simply
A dissident
Enraged.

The two cannot be compared
And yet I feel
As though
I am somewhat
Under payed
And outstaged.

Oh well, like him
I will write away
And pray the world
Will one day
Pay my way.
