Marilee Poem by Morgan Michaels

Marilee

If I could capture
the sheen on your shoulder
in my two bare hands,
Marilee, Marilee,
brighter than moonshine
I would take it home
to roam around the room
or freely fly about;
live there and die there
by its inspired light
sleep by day and read away
the long winter's night.
