March For Peace Poem by Michael Pruchnicki

March For Peace

Rating: 0.5

Disheveled and braying
the peace lovers
assemble in ragged rank

they hate the country
the government
and God

march ends in the plaza
outside city hall

city workers sweep up
discarded signs

the marchers have left
their mark behind

poetry lover - no way you accept messages from us hoi-polloi so by process of elimination I located your terse, expletive deleted comment march for peace is a very simple poem vocabulary pretty basic like an extended series of haiku or an imagist poem like something from the work of wcw any questions about this
