Come, watch him set the streets on fire!
Cheer him as he sets his pace;
His eyes aflame with fiery desire,
Victory etched upon his face...

He seems to float above the street,
Every flowing, fluid stride;
One with the wind, he is complete;
Like the waves within the tide...

What inner yearning drives his soul,
To race with time that won't stand still?
His eyes ahead, beyond the goal,
Because he knows he can, he will!

His smile bursts into joy divine,
Watch him cross the finish line!
