Mantras Poem by Nicholas Peter

Om mani padme hum,
is what I said to you,
as you laid in my bed,
at peace with the world and each other,
chanting mantra after mantra.

Om mani padme hum,
is what I whispered to you,
when you put your body to mine,
and stayed there naked,
and breathed another chant.

Om mani padme hum,
is what we yelled together,
in to the sky,
as we found our enlightenment,
and our nirvana,
connected as the stars.
