Mango Of The Outback. Poem by Geoffrey Fafard

Mango Of The Outback.

(For his Belinda and his Chris.)
- - - - - -

On a bright huge starry Territory night
Look for me 'neath the soft moonlight
My spirit is near and you are in my sight
Near the horses, bulls and wild folk bright
You both will hear my soft cry of delight…..

Thank you both.
Your boy,
MANGO.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
As a gentle giant is laid to rest tonight in the vast remoteness of the Northern Territory of Australia.
He will live on to give as much in history as he did in life.He came to me and asked me to write this simply because he could not.
I need to go out there and so I will…..Very soon.
