Man Without Dreams Poem by Jemarie Ragudo

Man Without Dreams

Rating: 5.0

Man and beast
Alike in many ways
We see beast-like man
And man-like beast
Except man can dream
Of greater things
No matter the times
Man must not lose
His dreams for tomorrow
For without them
Man is just beast

beneath the cultured movements and thoughts of men there lies the untamed beast, which, if it is not firmly contained, will just spring out suddenly, even without provocation... hence, always be wary. the beast in a man is always there...

Quite true, so I abhor people saying we evolved from the beast (monkey) ! Excellent thought! 10
