Man's Fool No More Poem by Michael P. Johnson

Though many watched The Saviour die
Though many saw Him live
Yet only a few reasoned why
His life He chose to give

They didn’t know! The living Christ
They failed The Truth to see
Why Heaven’s Lamb was sacrificed
How God would set us free

Though selfless love has much to share
Beyond life’s final gate
Those hateful men tormenting there
Had sealed their dreadful fate

Even now though truth’s being taught
Revealing facts on high
Sharing the world Jesus’ report
Many like fools still die

They disbelieve what Jesus said
What prophets have foretold
These too like fools are walking dead
Just like the fools of old

Beset with lust with foolish pride
With selfish hearts aflame
With none to teach, no one to guide
They’ll perish with their shame

It’s by God’s grace I too am free
By grace today I live
The Truth of Jesus made me see
That life’s much more to give

For now I know I need to change
I need a brand new start
My way of life to rearrange
Through Jesus in my heart……..
