Man On A Mission Poem by Michael Saunders

Man On A Mission

You screwed me over,
You f*cked with my life,
And now I can’t even call you my wife,

I made my decision,
I did what I had to do,
You’re just jealous because I have a new Boo,

You used to be all I ever thought about,
The only person I held close,
But you f*cked that up when you gave me a reason to doubt,

You screwed me over,
You f*cked with my life,
And now I can’t even call you my wife,

I close my eyes and wish you were out of my life,
Your promise was broken, you lied to me
And now the ring is stored away,

You can’t break me anymore,
I took control, only to have a heart sore,

Nothing will stop me from making my decision,
You can’t change my mind,
I’m the man on a mission.

A strong and powerful portrayal of betrayal and the loss of love. I enjoyed it. It is different because it is straight to the point. Steve
