Man Down Poem by Yogi Sally Ann Slight

Man down, Man down,
what are we to do?
Pick him up and carry him,
across the line with you.
 
Girl down, Girl down,
oh how could she forget,
this is all that they had planned,
but God's not told her yet!

Of happiness and joy to come,
for when you hit the lows
the only way is up and out,
when Love within you grows.
 
No matter what has occurred,
no matter in what fight,
you'll live to Love another day,
with the One that's right.

You send your Love, you keep up Hope,
you never let him fade,
for you wrote him all those words,
and the promises you made.
 
The man is down, it was his time,
you never let him go,
but when the man is down enough,
you have to let him know.

That the enemy works from within,
its fear that fires the rounds,
and everything that happens now,
will be in leaps and bounds.
 
Peace is now within your grasp,
your magazine is spent,
there are no other words to fire,
''this heart can never dent''.

Love has coated once again,
this broken heart of mine,
and once again its stronger to,
cross the enemy line.
 
My hand is held out once again
to you in Peace and Love,
and if you cannot find the words,
M please don't send a Dove.
