Malum Hominis Poem by David Wood

Malum Hominis

How long shall the wicked exult
In pouring out evil talk
And boast of the lives they have taken
With sickening images

They pour out arrogant words
And destruction is their trade
A scorched sterile earth
Is all they leave in their wake

When will these fools ever be wise
That they destroy their own heritage
Rampaging over all the earth
Until death overtakes them
