Maleia Poem by Sarah Pajarillo

Maleia

To my daughter

The snow owl sings its songlike melody
as we dance alone in the moonlight
your short brown hair curls up at the ends
-you smell so sweet!
I hold you close to me as we gaze at the stars above
Your almond-shaped eyes sparkle with every moment that passes
-your laughters contagious
You whisper 'i love you' as im spinning you around
-Thats when i melt
MY DAUGHTER! -MY BLOOD! -MY EVERYTHING!
