Make You Laugh Poem by Uriah Hamilton

Make You Laugh

Rating: 5.0

Sorrows gather
Like sidewalk puddles
In the disconsolate rain,
A parent conceals
A secret grief while a child plays
In the summer streets.

Even in the midst of joy,
Over the horizon,
Lingers the shadows
Of disappointment and defeat.

My personality
Is melancholy tinged,
But my real inner person
Is beautiful within.

One day, when the world
Has made you too sad,
I’ll find a way to make you laugh.

Yes, a very beautiful inner person indeed speaks from your verse.

Very tender. Only a beautiful soul could have created this poem. Warm regards, Sandra
