Make The Pain Stop. Poem by Stina Wallin

Make The Pain Stop.

Rating: 4.8

To take one step into the unknown.
To take one more step over the edge.

To do what is needed to be done, without anyone cheering you on.

To bite your lip and smile, when all you want to do is cry.
To tell a lie, say 'i'm fine' when all you want to do is die.

To wake up every morning and pick up a knife, but never being able to take your own life.

Welcome to poemHunter.com forum. You've made your voice heard! This is a poem of pain. Timid trepidation of a certain phase of life very nicely painted, which I am sure, will touch every heart that reads it. Well done.
