Maitreyee, My Friend

You make me want to challenge myself, to be the very best.
To question all my qualities and all my lifetime quests.

For time is ticking down for me, of that I am aware
It means so much to me, that I have a friend like you who cares.

So thank you, my sweet friend, for all you say and do
Of all my acquaintances from the Internet, a most special one is you.

poet Alfred Lord Tennyson

It little profits that an idle king,
By this still hearth, among these barren crags,
Match'd with an aged wife, I mete and dole
Unequal laws unto a savage race,
