Mailman Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Mailman

Mailman

As she said, a mailman was welcomed as a guest

Christmas with him came both news and the card

Wine, whiskey and the gifts were ready, all drunk

Danced, chatted of the road or of farm, even town

“Internet killed the mail and price worsened; bad.”
