Mail Delayed Poem by Rehan Hyder

Mail Delayed

Rating: 5.0

[An impulse dedication on receiving mail from a dear friend after a hiatus of some eons]

Feel so relieved
so much more caffeinated
so much more inebriated
with the growing vineyard of consciousness
in the evanescent thicket of thoughts

Hearing abilities and seeing capacities
have somehow formed a face; a tangibility
from anonymity; from absence

In this poem, my opinion, the poet wants to suggest that every human body has a functional spirit and the function of spirit means thoughts..And if the body do not succeed to remove the obscurity, though sometimes resorting to all kinds of ''fireworks'', valuable thoughts will certainly get out the spirit from anonymity. well done 10++
