Mahatma Gandhi Poem by Rohan Bendre

Mahatma Gandhi

The Man who was Symbol of Peace.
Wasn't He a Victim of British Arrogance
Never did he took Aggressive Stance
Those were the days when Violence had Power.
For Him Non Violence had Value Higher
Honesty and Truth were his Identification
On others People would Depend
But Self Work is what Importance he would Tend to Give
There was the British Government raising Heavy Salt Tax
Making it hard for People to Relax
There came The Man
'' Salt is Everybody's Right
We will give up a Fight.''
A Rally is what He Organized
When The British Started Violence
He started Non Cooperation Movement
In Gaining Independence it was the first Presence
Much Instrumental was his Participation in other Movements
Such was Our Father of the Nation
Instrumental was his Participation in Gaining Independence.
