Maggie Bray Poem by Tom Kearney

Maggie Bray

Fair the blush of opening flower
Fair the buds of bonny May
Fairer far that fateful hour
When first I saw sweet Maggie Bray
Sweeter than the rainbows arching
Sweeter than the dawn of day
Sweeter than the twilight falling
Is to know sweet Maggie Bray
How I love her...
O so madly!
She has won my heart away
I would give the whole world gladly
All for love of Maggie Bray

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Maggie Bray is, unfortunately, just a figment of my imagination but, who knows, some day we may actually meet! I'll keep you posted!
