Magda Poem by Morgan Michaels

Magda

Magda is strange.
She will easily abuse the rules of human decency
Which is to say, the rules of human reason,
And confute every evidence
In the name of the most spectacular idealism-
Her own form of prejudice:
All trumped up, of course.
Doubtless, she'll end in jail.
But after her death
She'll doubtless be made a great saint.
