In this world
Crafted by fear
Shielded by heartache
Rid of all that we hold dear
And the singing wind that never pauses
Blazing the fields and the memories
This world, far too frail
Made by us, made to fail
Repeat, repeat, repeat

Just the audience
Just the silence

Imprisoned, imprisoned, imprisoned
Within the reflection
No time given to root out the quake
Never to mend the shattered boulders
Which stand even when they break
Within the immediate cognition
That strangles even the radiance, never present
Prying the cold hands of man
From his shattered wishes
And his dearest hopes in nights pale
Made by us, made to fail
Repeat, repeat, repeat

Just the pressure
Just the gesture

Empowered, empowered, empowered
By the never-yielding recognition
Of our sickness
Our true condition
That has no remedy for the storm
Myriads of truths, myriads of lies
Evened out in the days end
Stuck up in differences not even the light
Can seem to transcend
No one left to defend the dusk
Merely hiding in its misty veil

Just the purity
