Mad Rush Poem by Ivan Chizurum Ezeigbo

Mad Rush

Rating: 4.0

They say everyone is mad
...to a degree
Picture
A moment of complete silence and enthusiasm
Lifted souls in anxiety
Suddenly...
A stimuli
A sharp blind smell
A deadly black response
Sick learned regrettable reaction
Then the thought again follows
''I couldn't have done that''
Cordial order
Organized association
Then...
The scream
The shout
Of fear
And care
For loss
You know,
Life is like a button
You press the wrong button
And things might go wrong
That's why we all look out for times
When there could be a mad rush
