Mad Mirrors - Part C (66) Poem by Raquel Angel Nagler

Mad Mirrors - Part C (66)

UNTITLED
QUOTE: 'It happens that I am tired of being a man' - P. Neruda

1. The more I think
I don't want to be a man,
The more I am.

2. Sometimes
I'm tired of being a man.
I want not to think,
But also this is thinking.
I want not to want,
But this is another way of wanting.

UNTITLED
QUOTE: 'The true, the most consuming death' - P. Neruda

Maybe
The most consuming death
Is the death of feelings:
An inner desert
Where we can drink no longer
Our tears.

UNTITLED
QUOTE: 'Each night: a little death' - P. Neruda

Nights like a little death.
In the morning:
The weariness of another resurrection,
Of another loneliness.
