UNTITLED
QUOTE: 'Combining the freedom of nature with the human bondage' - J. Saramango

A. Like us
Nature is bound
To laws
That don't seem its own

B. We look at nature
With the only eyes we have:
The human eyes.
The human longing.

C. We conquer nature
And it conquers us,
The way our life does.

D. Nature seeps into our eyes.
It becomes part of us:
Part of our freedom,
Part of our bondage.

UNTITLED
QUOTE: 'We think we are the same, but it is an illusion. We move with life' - J. Saramango

A. Life moves inside us,
We move inside life,
The way water moves in water.

B. Like solitude,
Life doesn't move in front of us,
Nor behind us.
It travels inside us
To the most distant regions
Of what we are.

UNTITLED
QUOTE: 'The conversation of women...Men don't perceive that this is what keeps the world in its orbit' - J. Saramango

It's the yard of afternoons
With the small talk of women
That keeps the little days rolling.
You know
It is the little days
That keep the world in its orbit.
