Lyrical Lion - Lincoln Park Zoo Poem by Ima Ryma

Lyrical Lion - Lincoln Park Zoo

It's been a winter cold and long,
At home in the Lincoln Park Zoo.
I feel the urge to sing a song,
To sing it out loud, yes I do
'The Lion in Winter' - good flick,
But not a song to sing - too bad.
What is a song that I might sing?
'Cat's in the Cradle'? - nope, too sad.
I will just open up real wide,
And let my notes roar out in sound,
Let heartfelt passion be my guide,
And music from me will abound.

What better than for me to sing
Melody from the 'Lion King'!
