Lyman And Lloyd

Rating: 4.8

Lyman and Lloyd. Lyman and Lloyd.
I say their names and feel a void.
They were my best friends growing up.
Lloyd had a cat, Lyman a pup.

Lloyd went to London, and they say
taught many people how to pray,
but Lyman Spanish did pursue
while on his mission to Peru.

We all did marry, grew apart,
yet they're still there within my heart.
I would see them, should things allow.
Where are they now? Where are they now?

Got a chuckle out of the portrait of Lyman and Lloyd (Lawyer's firm?) A fine example of a free flowing verse a full ten if ever deserved. ta Kim Where were you guys brought up? You all fled to distant countries.
