Lucifer Of Employment Poem by Emmanuel Adekunle

Lucifer Of Employment

The Lucifer of employment
taking nothing for granted
you must do it
before night falls
the fatest machine
that doesn't talk twice
the 'Hitler' of some nations
always having problems
with falling leaves
teaching the chicks lion's ferocity
the anger of birds to devour
happy pupils embarking on a journey
only to be caged

The greenlands are the abode
for the machine
the engines are being watered
though living in the middle of river
the government, the government
the Lucifer of employment
