Lucid Awake Changing Dreams

Earth covers my eyes with a kiss
under the veil of dark night.
Soon morning will come
and then comes the storm,
what you have gained and the cost.
No other would take what I lost.

Above your bright eyes are the stars
steady night skies each yellow sun rise.
Another will come when I'm gone.
Lucid awake change your dreams,
safe in your head, sound asleep.
