One step to show you the way
I’m being healed a little more each day
My heart is still scared and the blood still fresh
But I know that my love will never protest
I understand that your lost and confused
But the sad thing is I’ll never give up on you
From the touch of your hand to the way you kiss me
I would give anything for one more time for us to be
Together with out someone holding us back
And the light would portray exactly how we felt
I understand its not alive and the flame is burning out
I just wanted to skip the pain and never fill up with doubt
Forget me knots are the only thing I have left
And I tried so hard to keep your sent close to me
As the days fade away my eyes become faint
The shadows devour my very emotion
And leave my heart cold and distant
Yes I have been broken but it’s happen
Time and time before and never have I seen
Such sorrow my soul has endured for no reason
I’d give up love if I thought I’d never need it
But I yearn to feel another presence
I long to feel the same love as my own
So I’ll never give up on finding true love
Even if I have to wait an eternity to find it
