Low With Honor Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Low With Honor

Rating: 5.0

O lord, hear my call
Prevent possible moral fall
Force me to follow right course
Earn me blessings and not any curse

If I can weep some tears
Give me courage to bear
Pain of others and render
Some noble services to others

Give me no more wealth
But keep me in good health
So I can stand by in their crisis
Prevail upon them and emphasis

If not more, but let me pray
And ask for good and reasonable way
“I shall be of some use to my brethren”
Give the shelter and share the concern

It is simple wish
And want to finish
Life journey in happiness
With all cheers and smiles on face

Kindly forgive
If I am little more excessive
In asking special favor
I shall prefer to lay low with honor
