Loves Tapestry

Rating: 5.0

Sometimes we feel emotions
that overwhelm our hearts
sometimes the pain is searing
tearing us apart

Sometimes if we're lucky
the joy simply overflows
As we feel our very being
whilst the loving feeling glows

Sometimes in our loneliness
when our hearts are not entwined
The world is so much darker
when we turn to look behind

Sometimes when we're older
when we think of all we've missed
All the should have been romances
and the girls we should have kissed

Sometimes, somewhere, somehow
As we turn around our sun
We'll chance upon a soul
and that soul will be the one

Sometimes you'll reach and hold them
and you'll never let them go
Or you'll hesitate and close the gate
and then you'll never know

Sometimes the pain of lost romance
is too hard to bear for years
Then it rises in your heart again
same emotions, same old fears

Sometimes Loves tapestry
weaves a heaven here on earth
Like a Van Gogh in a gallery
it's priceless beyond worth

Sometimes the love is tainted
a love that hurts like hell
That tears your heart assunder
and rips your soul as well

Sometimes we survive love.
