Lovers Poem by Sumit Ganguly

Lovers

Rating: 4.5

When at first we met each other
We were trekking toward the peak
With first love and expectations
We trod the path, we trod the path.

Then we came to live together
And dived deep down the sea
met coral reefs and pack of sharks
And had friends-the dear dolphins.

Now we both are well read books
pages are little yellowish
The books are breathing in book shelf
Waiting for a touch, re-reading.

Love is a spiritual experience, a voyage of bliss that is fraught with stumbling blocks. It needs careful nurturing at all times to maintain its blissful nature. A lovely poem, well articulated and insightfully penned with conviction. Thanks for sharing Sumit. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON.
