Loved So Purely Poem by Trish Beckwith

Loved So Purely

Rating: 4.5

In the rush of our passion
I want to say the words you long to hear
To say the words that I fear
But I am frozen
Unbelievably I am loved by you; pure, without a need for reason.

In your arms I am safe and warm,
As I lay with you, my heart pounds for freedom, to scream the things I want to say
But my mind fights and leaves me silenced and gray
Locked in silence by my minds’ treason
Your unguarded, unbridled love is pure, and fights my dark demons of reason.

To be loved so purely is an unknown to me
But to give love so purely is not
I just lost the way to that part of my heart
My compass broken and torn apart.

Holding fast to your love and strength
I am released from my fears
Laying in your arms so tight and holding back the tears
I remember how to say the words and let the feelings come through
With my silence unlocked I can finally say the words … Baby I Love You.
