Not everybody finds love in their life,
Those that do are lucky indeed,
They have cherished memories,
Sweet dreams in life, happiness in death,
No not everyone finds love,
Those who have love are most lucky,
They have thoughts, good thoughts about whom they love,
They find meaning in life, they find comfort in hard times,
Not everyone is lucky to find love in life,
Those that do are blessed indeed,
They have love, they have life,
They have meaning, they have purpose,
How good it feels to have loved in life,
Those that have found love,
Are indeed lucky,
And those that find love which stays with them all their life are luckier still.

I never knew love,
Until that fateful day, when she came into my life,
Until then I thought it was a game, it sounded so lame,
But when she came, into my life,
It turned my life upside down, It made me more human,
But it did not last, for she went away to a place far away,
A better place I believe, leaving behind her love for me,
I have loved and have known love, I was lucky,
Although my love has gone, I am lucky to have had love,
Not everybody finds love in their life,
In that I am happy that I did have somebody to love,
To have known love and have been in love,
To have been loved and given love,
I know now how lucky I have been,
Because not everybody finds love in their life.
