Love Trees



love trees are hard to grow
when they do
they’re vulnerable
high winds and stormy rains
can shake their branches
break their stem
but every time they crumble
sometimes even when they tremble
we destroy them
and plant our seeds again
love trees are hard to grow
but we never fail to plant them
