Love Starts With

Love does not start with an I
Nor does it start with a You
Love is neither a demise
But Love is neither a truth

Love is not a word
Love is not what you beLIEve
Love is not a verb
Love is not what you perceive

Love is not a sight
Love. is. not. a. sight.
Love is not a repetitive phrase
Love is not an emphatic mistake

Love is not a number
Love is not 1,
2,
3 or
infinity
Love is not a forever
Love is not an obscenity

Love is not a bond
Love is not an unsung song
Love is not a ring
Love is not a meaning

But Contrary

Love is a present mystery
Love is a production of history
Love is a responsibility
Love is a deranged ability

Love is
Making
Love is a
Thrust
Love is a
Mating
Love is
Lust

Love is one from son to mother
Love is a vice-versa
Love is a momentous thought
Like life
Love is so short

Love is
evoLving
Love is
eviL
Live and
Love
eviL but still
Love

Love is Musical
Love is Rhythmical
Love is a Flow
Love begins as waves
of a Low

Love is a Higher Mind
Love is a part of a Start
Love does not
start with an eye
Love starts with a heart

poet Walt Whitman

ARM’D year! year of the struggle!
No dainty rhymes or sentimental love verses for you, terrible year!
Not you as some pale poetling, seated at a desk, lisping cadenzas
