Love’s Weight

Happy love life emanating fresh like the precious plant germinating out of the fertile soil
So fragile that any rough touch could spoil its growth
So fragile that an unkind touch could spoil its tender liveliness
So fragile that any lack of care could lead to death
So fragile that any lack of attention could lead to the loss of a history of infatuation
A history of delusionment
A history of amendment
A history of real love
A history of real joy
A history of love’s weight

Fresh little, brittle love signs always in the open
Playing out, unconcerned about the weather of attention
Fortified by all little things meant to nurture it
One little petal picked ignites a big smile
One soft kiss on the forehead cause a smile to widen
One hug cause a fervent moment despite the probable inclement weather
A cup of tea lights up the presence of love and care
A new garment spells out intimacy in the love affair
A warm bath and washing of the tender body with tender hands
Fortifies the love of today for tomorrow
Happy marriage confirms the vow, ‘till death do us part’
Happy kids confirms the cloud of love forever hovering above with incessant rain
